Why IBM should send Lotusphere 2009 Session Acceptances on Monday

Last night over dinner with Stuart and Keith we were discussing what to expect next Tuesday as we here in the US go to the polls to elect our next president, given the level of politically related blog posts on Planet Lotus over the last few weeks, one would logically expect a frenzy of activity come elections day.  Now don’t get me wrong, I will go vote on Tuesday and believe it is important that everyone else (well everyone except for Luis) goes and votes, but if I really want to spend all day reading about it I will just not on Planet Lotus or in my feed reader. My proposed solution – if IBM were to notify everyone who had their sessions accepted late Monday, instead of a flood of political posts, we would have a flood of posts on Lotusphere 2009 sessions, I know I would rather read about Lotusphere then about US politics.
