Microsoft Knows How to Convince Your Boss to Send You to Lotusphere

We have all been there, it took me at least 3 tries before I ever made it to Lotusphere.  There are some excellent resources out there  particularly Warren Elsmore’s  Lotusphere Justification Document.  I was looking for something the other day and came across the Microsoft Tech-Ed 2010 conference site.  Take a look: A picture named M2 And when you click on the “Convince Your Boss” tab you get a form letter, that lets you enter your name and e-mail, as well as your bosses name and e-mail and instantly send the justification document. A picture named M3 The letter concludes with the deadline to save money on the early registrations. I think a section like this would make a nice addition to the Lotusphere site for 2011, what do you think?

    I’m surprised that there isn’t one for Lotusphere already. I was just on the Impact 2010 conference site last week, and noticed one of the featured links on the home page is to a “convince the boss” page, complete with a customizable Word (ahem) doc:

    Cool! Everyone is invited to come to Barcelona (Spain) to convince my boss. I pay the “hosting” and the beer, ;

    Regards, Albert.
